Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Flock Block device?
Yes. Flock Block VPN is an optional service for the VPN Router mode on a Flock Block device. Hardware starts at $119 and is sold separately or in a prepaid first-year VPN bundle.
Can I use my own VPN instead?
Yes. A Flock Block VPN subscription is optional. You can bring your own compatible WireGuard configuration without subscribing to this service.
How many devices can connect?
VPN Router mode creates private Wi-Fi for up to three client devices at a time. Those devices share the protected connection provided through Flock Block.
What happens if VPN protection drops?
Flock Block verifies the protected connection. If that protection drops, internet traffic through its private Wi-Fi pauses instead of silently continuing outside the VPN.
How do renewal and cancellation work?
Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed interval until canceled. Cancel before the next renewal by emailing contact@flockblock.app; access continues through the paid term.
Does a VPN make me anonymous?
No. A VPN protects traffic routed through its encrypted connection, but websites, apps, accounts, cookies, payments, device identifiers, and traffic outside Flock Block can still identify or profile you.
