Information you provide
When you place an order, request support, seek a return, or contact us, we may receive your name, email address, shipping and billing address, order details, communications, and information you choose to provide about the product or issue.
Checkout is hosted by Stripe. Stripe processes payment credentials under its own privacy terms. Flock Block receives transaction and order information needed to confirm payment and fulfill the order, but does not receive or store your complete payment-card number.
Site analytics and custom events
We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage. Depending on Vercel’s configuration and your request, analytics data can include the page or route viewed, timestamp, referrer, general geographic region, browser, operating system, and device type. Vercel states that Web Analytics does not use third-party cookies and does not retain an IP address or identifiers that track a person across different sites.
We also record limited custom events such as purchase-button clicks, checkout starts and returns, scanner-demo interactions, article and policy link clicks, content sections viewed, and reading-depth milestones. Event properties are limited to non-sensitive details such as page type, section, button placement, and feature-flag variant. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, shipping addresses, payment details, or free-form support text to Vercel Analytics.
Feature flags and experiments
We use Vercel Flags to test and safely roll out site experiences, such as call-to-action wording or the initial state of an interactive demonstration. The flag value shown with an analytics event may be used to compare aggregate engagement between variants. We do not use feature flags to make decisions about eligibility, pricing, warranty coverage, or other legal rights.
How we use information
We use information to process payment and fulfill orders; provide receipts, shipment notices, support, returns, refunds, and warranty service; operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the site and product; understand aggregate engagement; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain business and tax records; and comply with legal obligations or enforce our terms.
When information is shared
We share information only as reasonably needed with service providers that support our operations, including Stripe for payment processing, Vercel for hosting and analytics, shipping carriers and fulfillment providers, email and support providers, and professional advisers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of business assets subject to appropriate protections.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We retain order, transaction, support, and warranty records for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute, and legal requirements. Analytics information is retained according to our Vercel plan and settings.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online service or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information associated with you, or object to certain processing, by emailing contact@flockblock.app. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Some records may be retained where required for orders, warranties, taxes, security, or legal claims.
Children and international visitors
The site and product are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We currently offer checkout and shipping only for United States addresses. If you visit from another location, information may be processed in the United States.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site, providers, or legal requirements. We will post the revised policy with a new effective date. Questions or privacy requests may be sent to contact@flockblock.app.
