Flock Block is an independent consumer privacy product and research publisher. It is not affiliated with Flock Safety, Rekor, Axon, Motorola Solutions, or the other vendors covered in our reporting.
The product
A wireless layer—not invisibility.
Flock Block is designed to add decoy Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi activity and alert on compatible observable scanner signatures. It does not jam communications, guarantee anonymity, detect every passive receiver, or block optical license-plate cameras.
We publish those limitations beside product claims because privacy decisions depend on the threat model. A shopper looking for protection from ALPR cameras should not be led to believe a wireless device changes what an optical camera can see.
The research desk
Sources before slogans.
Our guides prioritize official policies, technical standards, government records, audits, court material, research papers, and attributable company statements. Advocacy reporting is labeled and linked. Time-sensitive analysis carries a visible date and is updated only after a substantive review.
AI may assist with outlines, source comparison, copy editing, and formatting. It is not treated as a source. Claims are reviewed against linked evidence, and automated publishing is not used to create large numbers of keyword-variation pages.
